There's a small part of Shinobi that is incredibly disappointed he was not able to tie Kitty to Shaw industries in at least an oblique way. But he likes her too much to subject her to even a cursory association with Sebastian. So he'll take this, too. He will probably want to hug them both and/or take them to a celebratory dinner when he finds out about this, though.

Tessa agrees that, while she is competent in the field, her support and coordination capabilities are probably the more significant asset.
