It doesn't start until the skinny speedster sings...
The building Pyro'd identified as the one containing the labs looked somewhat the worse for wear - not surprising, considering that he'd started the place on fire just a few short days before. Wanda glanced over at Eileen and smirked.
"Almost like an invitation, huh?" she joked, waiting for the music to start blaring that would indicate it was time to strike.
"Their funeral," the blond replied, flexing her hands into fists, then relaxing them again, repeatedly. Keeping the violet glow from overtaking her eyes was difficult, but Eileen was nothing if not a good soldier. She could keep her impulse to kick ass under wraps until the actual signal to begin went out. "Bet they've never seen anything like the two of us before."
"To be fair? There's really not much of anything like the two of us." Wanda's grin brightened as hex energy began teasing around her fingertips. "We're in a league all our own."
"True. But that's not going to stop me from stomping some oppressive flatscan nutsack," Eileen smirked back. "Soon as Pietro gets around to giving us the signal, that is. What the hell is taking him so long, anyway?"
"Who knows? Maybe Tessa's having trouble-" as if they'd somehow jinxed it into happening, the all too familiar sound of her brother singing suddenly blared over their heads. Wanda glanced up, confirmed that there were speakers attached to the traffic lights for some reason she wasn't even pretending to understand, and then smirked over at Eileen. "I think that'd be it, huh? Ready?"
"Just try to keep up," Eileen grinned, palpably thrilled to have finally been let off her proverbial leash. Eyes bursting into pools of violet that streamed into the air above her head like the warning coloration of a particularly venomous tropical fish, she rose a few feet into the air and began floating toward the already battle-damaged labs, fingers flicking almost absently as she began disabling security and surveillance equipment in advance of their entrance. Just for fun, she activated the alarm at the end of the complex furthest from them, to add to the confusion.
Wanda watched Eileen with amusement, shaking her head, then turned her attention to their target, planted her feet and stretched out her arms, and let loose. Eileen was right. They were never going to know what hit them.
